Charles Gibbons is an educator and practicing designer with over twenty-five years\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n
On the professorial side, Chuck holds dual faculty appointments at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the University of Maryland, University College. He has also taught at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and the Rhode Island School of Design.<\/p>\n
On the design practice side, his efforts encompass both educational and cultural institutions. \u00a0Cultural clients include the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, the State Museum of Pennsylvania, and the Library of Congress, where he was the chief designer for the U.S. Copyright Office. He has even worked for the Jim Henson Company.<\/p>\n
Educational clients with whom he has worked include the University of Minnesota, Clark University, the University of Massachusetts, Boston, M.I.T., Susquehanna University, Harvard Business School, the International School of Boston, and the University of Vermont\u2019s Global Challenge Project. His projects have spanned annual reports, institutional re-brands, admission and advancement collateral, all the way to producing custom icon fonts for course catalogs.<\/p>\n
