Linda M. Ragosta, Ed.D.

Academic Practice Lead

Dr. Linda Ragosta has over 30 years of experience mobilizing and leading teams to collaboratively establish and accomplish organizational goals and priorities. She has been an educator and senior executive in both higher education and corporate sectors and has been a member of executive management teams for over 20 years.

Linda has held leadership roles as Chief Academic Officer and Chief Student Affairs Officer. Her responsibilities have included oversight of academic programs and faculty, academic support, advising, student development, residential life, campus safety, athletics and related departmental functions as well as budget development and management. Linda held positions at Dean College, Newbury College, Babson College and Bridgewater State University.

Linda has effectively led academic, student affairs and institutional strategic planning initiatives, NEASC and specialized accreditation self-study and compliance processes that resulted in progressive institutional accomplishments. These included development and implementation of new baccalaureate degree programs, redesigning organizational structures and reinvigorating the general education core with the support of a grant from the Davis Educational Foundation. Additional areas of expertise include: change management, faculty management, curriculum and learning outcomes assessment, Board of Trustees involvement, alumni and donor relations.

Linda has been a peer evaluator for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges – Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NEASC-CIHE). She held leadership roles in regional and national professional associations, including the Academic Affairs Think Tank of the New England Resource Center for Higher Education (NERCHE), National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), and the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA). Linda has presented at professional conferences on topics including; Retention Strategies, Change Planning, Institutional Policy Development, Creativity and Management, International Exchange Programs, Leadership Development, Effective Communication and Team Building, Trends in Student Culture and Behavioral Health Among College Students.

Linda earned an Ed.D. in Higher Education at Nova Southeastern University, M.Ed.at Bridgewater State University, and B.A. at Framingham State University.
